Social Work + Advocacy

Support beyond the therapy room.

Sometimes moving forward means understanding a complicated system, organizing the next step, and having support while making sure your voice is heard.

How BRWN. can help

Practical support. Clearer next steps.

BRWN. offers culturally responsive social work and advocacy support for adolescents, adults, parents, and families navigating school, healthcare, behavioral-health, and community systems.

We work collaboratively so clients and families can better understand their options, prepare for important conversations, and move through systems with greater clarity and confidence.

05

Medical social work & care navigation

Support for individuals and families navigating the emotional and practical impact of health concerns, medical care, caregiving, hospitalization, or a significant health transition.

06

Psychosocial assessments

Assessment of strengths, concerns, support systems, caregiving needs, access barriers, and the social and emotional factors affecting health and well-being to help clarify appropriate next steps.

Good to know: Medical social work and advocacy services focus on psychosocial assessment, support, preparation, resource connection, and systems navigation. They do not include medical diagnosis or treatment, hands-on personal care, legal representation, emergency response, or a guarantee of eligibility, accommodations, benefits, or outcomes.
