Psychotherapy & wellness for girls and women

Soft enough to land. Safe enough to heal. Brave enough to become.

Culturally responsive care created with Black and Brown girls and women in mind—serving clients across Washington.

Who we are

A soft place to be fully seen.

BRWN. is a culturally responsive psychotherapy and wellness practice created with Black and Brown girls and women in mind.

Clients can show up without performing, minimizing, overexplaining, or carrying everything alone. Through authentic connection, cultural understanding, emotional safety, and evidence-informed care, we create room for girls to discover who they are becoming and for women to reconnect with themselves.

Here, softness is allowed.Your voice matters.Your story has room.

How we practice

Healing is deeply relational.

Effective therapy involves more than techniques. Change can take root within relationships shaped by consistency, authenticity, safety, curiosity, and trust. Our work is collaborative and evidence-informed.

  • Relational therapy
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • DBT-informed skills
  • Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Strengths-based practice
  • Narrative approaches
  • Trauma-informed care
  • Mindfulness & emotional regulation
Healing does not require you to become someone else. It can begin by returning to yourself with greater understanding.

What brave means here

Bravery isn’t synonymous with strength.

You do not have to prove how much you can endure.

Sometimes brave looks like asking for help.

Sometimes brave looks like trusting yourself and speaking honestly.

Sometimes brave looks like setting a boundary—or saying, “I’m not okay.”

Sometimes brave looks like navigating postpartum life when motherhood feels different than you imagined.

Sometimes brave looks like leaving, starting over, resting, or rediscovering yourself.

And sometimes brave simply looks like walking into therapy and deciding that something deserves to change.
